iTV Remote (hereinafter referred to as " this application") is a product that provides you with functions such as controlling TV devices through your mobile phone .
We respect and protect the personal privacy of all users of the service. In order to provide you with more accurate and practical services, this application will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy. However, this application will treat this information with a high degree of diligence and prudence. This application will update this privacy policy from time to time. ( 2 ) Remote control of devices: In order to provide you with the function of remote control of devices, we may collect your device system and operator information (country, language, system version, operator information), smart device information, login account information, and command information issued to the device to be controlled.
( 3 ) Sharing the remote control: We provide the function of sharing the remote control. We will collect your network information SSID, BSSID, IP, WLAN name, MAC address, and use it to share your remote control with other users on the same network. After sharing, other users can directly connect and control the remote control.
( 4 ) Remote control backup: We provide a remote control backup function. After you turn on this function, we will upload the information of your remote control device to the cloud to enable the cloud backup function of the remote control for you.
( 5 ) Problem feedback: We may collect the feedback you send to us, the logs of requests sent to the server (depending on whether you choose to upload them), and the phone number or email information you provide so that we can better understand the problems you encounter.
When you use this service, the following system sensitive permissions related to personal information may be triggered. In order to enable you to better manage your information, we will inform you of the purpose of the permission when applying for permission during the product use process, as well as the impact that may occur on your use of the service if you do not enable the permission. ( 1 ) Additional functions based on microphone permission: After enabling this permission, you can control and operate connected TV devices by giving commands through voice.
( 2 ) Additional features based on location information permission: When you enable this permission, we will collect your location information so that you can share your device, scan nearby TVs, obtain devices shared by other users around you, and help you quickly select the area where the TV set-top box operator is located.
( 3 ) Additional functions based on camera permissions: After enabling this permission, you can add infrared devices shared by others by scanning the QR code.
The permissions we apply for will be consistent with the service functions provided. If the business functions we provide are adjusted, the device permissions we apply for will also be adjusted accordingly. When we call the device permissions for the first time, we will separately prompt you whether to enable them and explain the purpose of the permission application. Please note that when you enable these permissions, you authorize us to collect and use these personal information to achieve the above functions. When you close the permissions, you cancel these authorizations, and we will no longer continue to collect your personal information and will not be able to provide you with the above functions corresponding to these authorizations. Your decision to close permissions will not affect the processing of personal information previously performed based on your authorization.
